BC's day

The Lions win the Grey Cup! Woohooo! Reminds me of the time when Gabby, my bro, and I watched the Lions win the Grey Cup many years ago on a field goal by Lui Passaglia. Haven't watched a game since but I'm still happy that the Lions won the Grey Cup.

On that same day, the Canucks also get a little win streak going, even though the wins were against teams we should win against - Chicago and St Louis. In every game, except the one against Anaheim, we outplayed the opposition but it's the goal scoring that is hurting us. We cannot seem to get past 2 goals.

The Ikea Line is back now. Vigneault basically thinks that an great first line is better than okay lines all throughout. The others have to step up the scoring production. I'm still optimistic about this team, and you would too if you see how they play. Luongo is in a little bit of a slump but played great last night. He feels he is feeling a lot better

It also helps that Mitchell is back after being out 3 weeks. He is one of our top 4 defenceman. We also have a find in diminutive Coulombe in the back end who is making tape to tape passes and dangerous on the power play. Bourdon is sent back to juniors and we will see him next year, hopefully much improved and better. He is not ready for the NHL yet.

GO CANUCKS! GO BC LIONS!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING THE GREY CUP!!!!!
